Upcoming Phones in India: The Truth About Only One Launch
Only one phone launches this week, and it is China-only. See which upcoming phones in India are real, with Rs price tips and a wait-or-buy verdict.

The list of upcoming phones in India looks long this November. The truth is shorter. Only one phone has a confirmed launch this week (9 to 15 November), and it is a China launch.
That phone is the Oppo Reno 17 series. Everything else is “coming this month” or “expected soon”. So before you pause a purchase, you need to know which upcoming phones in India are real, and which are still guesses.
This guide sorts them by how sure each launch is. It also gives price hints in Rs and a wait-or-buy verdict for each type of buyer.
The Short Version
- This week: Oppo Reno 17 and Reno 17 Pro launch in China on 9 November. Oppo has not confirmed India.
- Confirmed for India, no date: Motorola Signature 27 (November) and Xiaomi 18 Pro.
- Expected, not confirmed: vivo X500 series (late November), iQOO 16 and OnePlus 16.
- Prices: No official India price exists for any of these yet. Every Rs figure below is a tip.

Which Upcoming Phones in India Launch This Week?
Just one phone has a firm date. Beebom’s weekly list says the Oppo Reno 17 and Reno 17 Pro launch in China on 9 November. Blind pre-orders are already live there.
However, India is a different story. Oppo has not confirmed an Indian launch. One tipster says the standard Reno 17 could arrive in early 2027. The Pro may skip India altogether.
Here are the rumoured specs, so you know what to expect if it does come:
Reno 17 | Reno 17 Pro | |
|---|---|---|
Display | 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED | 6.32-inch 1.5K OLED |
Battery | 8,000mAh | 7,200mAh |
Chip | Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 | Dimensity 8550 Super |
Cameras | 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, 50MP periscope | Same |
Both are tipped to run ColorOS 17 on Android 17. We covered the details in our Oppo Reno 17 India launch post. So what about the rest of the month?
Which Upcoming Phones in India Are Confirmed for November?
Two phones carry an official India promise. Neither has a date.
Motorola Signature 27
Motorola India runs a microsite that says “coming this November”. The phone already launched globally on 5 November. That means the India version is close.
Price is the open question. One tipster says Rs 70,000 to Rs 80,000. Another outlet expects Rs 80,000 to Rs 1,00,000. For comparison, the first Signature launched in India at Rs 59,999, according to Digit’s roundup. Our Motorola Signature 27 price in India post tracks the leaks.
Xiaomi 18 Pro
Xiaomi confirmed the India launch at Snapdragon Day during India Mobile Congress 2026. Beebom reported that a date and price are still missing.
One tipster points to December. Treat that as a tip. The same tipster says only the 18 Pro is coming to India this year, so the Pro Max is unconfirmed. For global details, see our Xiaomi 18 Pro global launch report.
Which Phones Are Only Expected, Not Confirmed?
These three are the biggest names. However, none has an official India date.
Phone | Status | Tipped timing |
|---|---|---|
vivo X500 series | Not confirmed for India | Late November |
iQOO 16 | Not confirmed | Mid-December per one roundup |
OnePlus 16 | Tipped, not confirmed | December or early 2027 |
The vivo X500 is tipped with a Dimensity 9600M chip and a 7,500mAh battery. We looked at it in vivo X500 India launch.
The iQOO 16 is tipped for a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip and an 8,500mAh battery, per this November roundup. Our iQOO 16 India launch post has the latest.
How Much Could the OnePlus 16 Cost in India?
Estimates are all over the place. One tipster says Rs 1.3 lakh to Rs 1.4 lakh. Other outlets work back from the China price and reach roughly Rs 67,000 to Rs 86,000, according to 91mobiles.
That is a Rs 50,000 gap or more. So ignore every number until OnePlus names one. Telecomtalk also reports that OnePlus may skip India because memory costs are rising. That is a rumour too.

Should You Wait for Upcoming Phones in India?
It depends on what you need and when you need it. Use this as a guide.
- Need a phone this month: Buy now. Nothing tipped for India has a firm date.
- Budget under Rs 40,000: None of these upcoming phones in India targets you. Buy what is on sale.
- Flagship buyer: Wait for the Signature 27 and Xiaomi 18 Pro. Both are confirmed for India.
- OnePlus fan: Wait only if you can live with December or later. The India launch is not official.
- Oppo Reno fan: Do not wait for the Reno 17. India is unconfirmed.
Also remember that chip and memory costs are pushing prices up. That means the eventual India prices may be higher than you expect.
What Should You Watch Next?
Watch for three signals. First, an official teaser from the brand with a date. Second, a Flipkart or Amazon landing page, because that usually means a launch within days. Third, a price tease on the brand’s own site.
We will update this post as dates appear. Until then, treat every Rs number as a guess.
Conclusion
The list of upcoming phones in India is long, but only a few entries are real. One phone launches this week, and it is China-only. The Motorola Signature 27 and Xiaomi 18 Pro are the two safest bets for India.
