Motorola Signature 27 Price in India: Is Rs 69,999 the Best Deal? 1 Big Warning

Motorola Signature 27 price in India is expected at Rs 69,999 to Rs 89,999. What is confirmed, when it lands, and whether to wait or buy the original.

The Motorola Signature 27 price in India is not official yet. However, the estimates already run from Rs 69,999 to Rs 89,999, and that gap matters more than any spec.

Motorola confirmed the phone for India at India Mobile Congress on 9 October. Meanwhile, the first Signature, which launched at Rs 59,999, has been selling for less than that.

So here is what Motorola has confirmed, what is only expected, and what we would actually do with the money.

The Short Version

  • Expected price: Rs 69,999 to Rs 89,999 for the base model. None of it is official.
  • Launch: India is confirmed. Motorola’s global page says “coming in November”, but there is no India date.
  • Confirmed specs: Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a 200MP periscope zoom camera and seven years of updates.
  • The catch: At Rs 89,999 it walks into a much tougher fight than the first Signature did.
  • Our call: Wait if you want the zoom camera. Buy the original if you want a flagship under Rs 60,000 today.

Motorola Signature 27 Price in India: What the Estimates Say

No price has come from Motorola. Every figure below is a guess from a publication, so treat it that way.

Digit’s price page gives a range of Rs 69,999 to Rs 89,999 for the 12GB and 256GB model. In contrast, Beebom lists an expected price of Rs 69,999.

Techgenyz goes further and warns that any price near Rs 1 lakh “should be treated as speculation”. We agree.

Here is our read. A new flagship chip and a 200MP zoom camera cost Motorola more than last year’s parts. Therefore, a price that matches the old Rs 59,999 looks unlikely. Rs 69,999 is the best case, not the safe bet.

What Is Confirmed So Far

Motorola announced the phone at the Snapdragon Summit in September. According to Digit, the company confirmed the chip there, along with both main cameras.

Motorola has confirmed these details, and both Digit and Techgenyz report them:

  • Chip: Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6
  • Main camera: 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 with OIS
  • Zoom camera: 200MP periscope telephoto
  • Updates: seven years of Android upgrades and seven years of security updates
  • Sound: speakers tuned by Bang & Olufsen
  • Colours: Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Olive

Display size, battery and charging are still not official. Both Digit and Beebom report a 6,000mAh battery, but Motorola has not said so.

Motorola Signature 27 Launch Date in India

Motorola has confirmed India. It has not confirmed a date.

Motorola’s marketing team showed the phone at India Mobile Congress in Delhi on 9 October. Beebom expects a November launch. Digit points out that Motorola’s “coming in November” line is global and not India-specific.

As a result, a November launch is likely but not certain. A slip into December would not surprise us, so do not hold off on a phone you need this week.

Signature 27 vs the Original Signature

The original Signature launched in India on 23 January 2026. GSMArena lists three prices: Rs 59,999, Rs 64,999 and Rs 69,999.

Notice the last row. Both phones get seven years of updates, so the older one will keep getting new Android versions for years.

The real upgrades are the chip and the zoom camera. If neither matters to you, the price gap buys you very little.

The Big Warning: Rs 89,999 Changes Everything

At Rs 69,999, the Signature 27 would be one of the cheapest phones with Qualcomm’s top chip and a 200MP zoom camera. That would be a strong deal.

At Rs 89,999, it is a different story. It would then sit near phones with bigger brands, longer track records and much wider service networks. For example, see our OPPO Find X10 Pro Max price in India breakdown. Or read our Galaxy S27 release date guide if you can wait until January.

Motorola’s flagships also tend to get cheaper fast. Indeed, Digit reported the original selling at Rs 56,969 on Amazon in August, about Rs 3,000 under launch, seven months after release.

That pattern is the warning. Paying full launch price for a Motorola flagship has rarely been the smart move.

Should You Buy, Wait or Skip?

Wait for the Signature 27 if zoom photos matter to you and you would spend up to about Rs 75,000. A 200MP periscope is a real step up from 3x, and the launch is weeks away.

Buy the original Signature now if you want a flagship under Rs 60,000. It has a 165Hz screen, three 50MP cameras, 90W charging and the same seven-year update promise.

Check the live price first, though, since it moves with every sale.

Skip the Signature 27 at launch if it arrives at Rs 89,999. In that case, wait a few months for the first price cut, which history says will come.
