OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Price in India Is Rs 1,99,999: Why the Find X10 Is the Best Value

OPPO launched the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max in India on 22 October. The Find X10 Pro Max price in India is Rs 1,99,999, and the smaller Find X10 starts at Rs 1,39,999.

Both prices are higher than the leaks. For example, last week, a tipster said the Find X10 would cost Rs 1,29,999. Instead, it costs Rs 10,000 more.

Below, we cover both prices, the sale date and what you get. Then we say plainly which one we would buy, and who should skip both.

Find X10 Pro Max Price in India and Sale Date

The prices below are confirmed by 91mobiles and Smartprix. Beebom reports the same Pro Max price and sale date.

Sales start on 29 October. As for colours, the Find X10 comes in Glacier Blue, Glow Coral and Mist Grey. Meanwhile, the Pro Max comes in Luna White and Titanium Grey.

How Much More Than the Find X9?

This is the part that hurts. After all, the Find X9 launched in India at Rs 74,999, and the Find X9 Pro at Rs 1,09,999. We covered those prices in our Find X10 leak story.

In other words, the cheapest Find X10 now costs more than last year’s Pro did. And the Pro Max costs almost twice as much as the X9 Pro.

To be fair, the hardware is better. Both phones get 200MP zoom cameras and an 8,000mAh battery. Still, nothing in the spec sheet doubles, while the price nearly does.

What the Pro Max Adds Over the Find X10

The two phones share more than they differ. Both have an 8,000mAh battery, 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, and IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings. Also, both have a 200MP main camera and a 200MP zoom camera, each with stabilisation.

For Rs 60,000 more than the base Find X10, the Pro Max adds:

• A third 200MP camera: the ultrawide goes from 50MP to 200MP.
• More zoom: 3x optical, against 2.8x on the Find X10.
• Faster chip: the Dimensity 9600 Pro, the first phone in India to use it.
• Bigger screen: 6.78 inches, against 6.59 inches.
• Heavier body: about 233g, against 216g.

Notably, the Pro Max is also the bigger, heavier phone to carry. Even 91mobiles, in its launch report, says the extras do not seem to justify a big premium for most people.

The Catch

There are three, and together they add up.

First, the price is above the leak and far above the last generation. If you waited for the launch hoping for a surprise, it went the wrong way.

Second, the teleconverter lens is not included. Instead, it costs another Rs 24,999 on top of either phone.

Third, OPPO has not shared how many years of Android updates these phones get in India. At Rs 2 lakh, that promise matters. So far, no source we read gives a number.

Launch Offers in India

Smartprix reports 15 percent cashback on IDFC First Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank and SBI cards. However, it does not give a maximum cashback amount, and we could not confirm the offer elsewhere.

So treat the offer as a bonus, not a reason to buy. After all, a cashback cap often keeps the real saving well below 15 percent on a phone this expensive.

Should You Buy the Find X10 or Pro Max?

Buy the Find X10 with 256GB if you want the best zoom camera and battery in an Android phone you can use one-handed. It keeps the two 200MP cameras that matter most, for Rs 60,000 less.

Buy the Pro Max only if you shoot a lot of wide-angle photos and want the biggest screen. Even then, compare it with the 512GB Find X10 at Rs 1,69,999 first.

Wait if you are not in a hurry. Besides, these are launch prices, and launch prices are rarely the lowest a phone will see.

Skip both if you own a Find X9 or Find X9 Pro. The upgrade is a newer chip and bigger battery, not Rs 65,000 to Rs 90,000 worth.

What would we do? Simply put, we would buy the base Find X10, or nothing at all at these prices.
