Infinix GT 50 Pro Price in India: Is Rs 35,000 the Best Deal for Gamers? 1 Big Warning
The Infinix GT 50 Pro price in India is tipped at Rs 35,000 before the 27 October launch. That is Rs 10,000 over the GT 30 Pro. Buy, wait or skip?

Infinix will launch the GT 50 Pro in India on 27 October, and it will be sold only on Flipkart. The Infinix GT 50 Pro price in India is not official yet. However, reports put it between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000, according to Smartprix.
That matters because the last model was much cheaper. The GT 30 Pro launched at Rs 24,999 in June 2025. So this year’s gaming phone from Infinix could cost about Rs 10,000 more.
Below, we cover the expected price, what the extra money buys, and the one number to watch on launch day. Then we tell you plainly what we would do.
The Short Version
- Launch: 27 October, sold only on Flipkart. Infinix has confirmed the date.
- Expected price: Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000. This is a report, not an official figure.
- Reference: The 12GB + 256GB model costs about Rs 35,000 in Indonesia, at today’s conversion.
- Last year: The GT 30 Pro started at Rs 24,999, so the jump could be Rs 10,000.
- Our view: Buy it at Rs 35,000 or less if you play games daily. Above that, wait for the first sale offers.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Price in India: What the Reports Say
No one outside Infinix knows the final price yet. Even so, three reports point the same way.
Digit says early reports suggest around Rs 35,000. It also calls this a big increase over the last model, and warns the figure is a leak.
Meanwhile, Smartprix and Gizbot both give a range of Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000. Gizbot adds that recent price hikes could push it up, though it still expects a start under Rs 45,000.
The best clue is the Indonesian price. There, the 12GB + 256GB model sells for about Rs 35,000 at conversion, and the 512GB model for about Rs 40,000. Both Smartprix and Gizbot report these figures.
How Much More Than the GT 30 Pro?
Here is last year’s phone next to this year’s, using launch prices only. Most specs below are for the global GT 50 Pro, so the Indian model could still differ.
Infinix GT 30 Pro | Infinix GT 50 Pro | |
|---|---|---|
India launch | June 2025 | 27 October 2026 |
Starting price | Rs 24,999 (8GB + 256GB) | Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000 (expected) |
Chip | Dimensity 8350 Ultimate | Dimensity 8400 Ultimate |
Wireless charging | No | 30W |
Shoulder triggers | Yes | Yes, 10 pressure levels |
The GT 30 Pro prices come from GSMArena’s launch report. It listed Rs 24,999 for 8GB + 256GB and Rs 26,999 for 12GB + 256GB.
In other words, the 12GB models could be Rs 8,000 apart. That is a real gap, but it is not the whole story.
What the Extra Money Buys
First, the chip is a step up. The Dimensity 8400 Ultimate replaces the 8350 Ultimate, and it pairs with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Second, the battery grows to 6,500mAh. It charges at 45W by cable and 30W wirelessly, which is rare at this price.
The screen is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness. It also has Gorilla Glass 7i and a 2,800Hz instant-touch mode for games.
Finally, there is the gaming hardware. The shoulder triggers sit in the frame and sense 10 pressure levels. Behind them, HydroFlow liquid cooling shows through the clear rear panel.
The phone runs XOS 16 on Android 16. The cameras are modest: a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide and a 13MP selfie camera.
The Big Warning: Pay for the Triggers or Skip
Here is the catch. Almost every extra rupee goes to gaming. The triggers, the cooling and the touch rate do nothing for photos or daily apps.
So if you do not play games for an hour a day, you would be paying a gaming tax. In that case, look at a regular phone around Rs 30,000 with a better camera.
Also, keep the price trend in mind. Phones across India have become dearer this year. For instance, the OPPO F35 Pro jumped in price too, so Infinix is not alone.
Who Should Buy, Wait or Skip
Buy it if you play BGMI, Call of Duty Mobile or Genshin Impact most days, and the 12GB + 256GB model lands at Rs 35,000 or less.
At that price, you match the Indonesian price, and the triggers and cooling earn their keep.
Wait if the price starts above Rs 35,000. Flipkart first sales often bring card discounts, so give it a week. Also, the Indian spec sheet is not final until launch day.
Skip it if you mostly scroll, shoot photos and watch videos. You would pay for hardware you never use. A cheaper all-rounder, like the Galaxy F70 5G, will serve you better.
If we were buying, we would set Rs 35,000 as our limit. Above it, we would wait for the first sale.
Where to Buy and Launch Offers
The GT 50 Pro will be sold only on Flipkart in India, as Smartprix and Gizbot both report. Infinix has not named bank offers or a first sale date yet.
The colours listed so far are Black Abyss and Red Blaze. Digit also mentions a Silver Glacier option, but only as a leak.
For context, Infinix ran a first-sale offer on the GT 30 Pro. GSMArena reported Rs 2,000 off on Flipkart on the first day, which brought the 8GB model down to Rs 22,999. A similar deal this time would change the maths.
