Galaxy F70 5G Price in India Is Rs 19,999: What You Need to Know Now
The Galaxy F70 5G price in India starts at Rs 19,999 for 4GB RAM. Here are the specs, the bank offer, the sale date and why the Galaxy A17 may be better.

Samsung launched the Galaxy F70 5G in India on 18 October. The Galaxy F70 5G price in India starts at Rs 19,999 for 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
That sounds fair for a Samsung with an AMOLED screen and a stabilised camera. However, the phone shares its chip, cameras and battery with the Galaxy A17 5G. And the A17 launched at Rs 18,999 with 6GB of RAM.
So below, we cover the price, the bank offer and the specs. Then we tell you plainly who should buy it and who should look elsewhere.
The Short Version
- Price: Rs 19,999 for 4GB + 128GB, and Rs 22,999 for 6GB + 128GB.
- Offer price: Rs 17,999 and Rs 20,999 with a bank card discount.
- Sale: from 20 October on Flipkart and Samsung’s own website.
- Best bit: a 50MP main camera with OIS, IP54 and a 7.5mm body.
- Catch: the Galaxy A17 5G has the same core hardware and launched with more RAM for less money.
- Our advice: skip the 4GB model. Buy the F70 only at the offer price, and only if you want its slimmer body.
The Galaxy F70 5G Price in India and Offers
There are two models. Gizmochina lists Rs 19,999 for 4GB + 128GB and Rs 22,999 for 6GB + 128GB. My Mobile India gives the same two prices.
Many headlines say Rs 17,999, though. That is not the sticker price. It is the effective price after a bank card discount, and it needs a card from a partner bank.
With the discount, My Mobile India says the 6GB model drops to Rs 20,999. The Tech Outlook also reports the Rs 17,999 starting figure.
The first sale opens on 20 October at 12 PM. You can buy it on Flipkart and on Samsung’s India website.
Model | Price | With bank offer |
|---|---|---|
4GB + 128GB | Rs 19,999 | Rs 17,999 |
6GB + 128GB | Rs 22,999 | Rs 20,999 |
The Specs That Matter
The phone runs on the Exynos 1330, a 5nm chip. The screen is a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel at Full HD+, and it sits under Gorilla Glass Victus.
On the back, there is a 50MP main camera with optical stabilisation. Samsung calls it “No Shake Cam”. A 5MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera join it, per GSMArena. The selfie camera is 13MP.
The battery is 5,000mAh, and it charges at 25W. In addition, you get IP54 dust and splash protection and a side fingerprint reader. The body is 7.5mm thick, which Samsung calls the slimmest in its segment.
It comes in two colours: Vivid Violet and Bold Black.
What Is Still Unclear
Two details are not settled yet, so check the Flipkart listing before you buy.
First, the refresh rate. Gizmochina says 120Hz. By contrast, The Tech Outlook says 90Hz, and My Mobile India lists both on the same page. Since the A17 uses 90Hz, we would not count on 120Hz until Samsung’s own page confirms it.
Second, the update promise. No launch report we read gives a number of Android upgrades for the F70. GSMArena only guessed that it may follow the A17. That matters, because long updates are the best reason to buy a budget Samsung.
There is also the charger. Gizmochina reports that the 25W adapter is sold separately. So add the cost of a 25W charger if you do not own one.
The Catch: It Is a Galaxy A17 With Less RAM
Here is the part the launch posts skip. The Galaxy A17 5G launched in India in August 2025 with the same Exynos 1330 chip.
It also has the same 50MP OIS main camera, the same 5MP and 2MP extras, and the same 13MP selfie camera. Likewise, it has the same 5,000mAh battery and 25W charging. GSMArena and FoneArena both list those specs.
Yet the A17 started at Rs 18,999 for 6GB + 128GB. So the F70 asks Rs 1,000 more for 2GB less RAM.
Galaxy F70 5G | Galaxy A17 5G | |
|---|---|---|
Launch price | Rs 19,999 (4GB + 128GB) | Rs 18,999 (6GB + 128GB) |
Chip | Exynos 1330 | Exynos 1330 |
Main camera | 50MP with OIS | 50MP with OIS |
Battery | 5,000mAh, 25W | 5,000mAh, 25W |
Refresh rate | 90Hz or 120Hz (reports differ) | 90Hz |
Updates | Not announced | Six OS upgrades |
Thickness | 7.5mm | Not as slim, per Samsung’s claim |
Charger in box | Reportedly no | Yes, per FoneArena |
FoneArena says the A17 gets six OS updates and six years of security fixes. In other words, the older phone has a promise the new one does not yet have.
To be fair, the F70 does bring some real gains. It is slimmer, and it has Gorilla Glass Victus. If the 120Hz report is right, it also has the smoother screen.
How It Compares at This Price
The Rs 20,000 bracket is crowded. We recently covered the Galaxy A08, which costs Rs 18,499 with no 5G. The F70 is clearly the better Samsung over that one.
We also looked at the Realme P4s Lite at Rs 16,499, which also lacks 5G. Against both, the F70 wins on network support and camera stabilisation.
Still, the Exynos 1330 is a modest chip for 2026. It handles daily apps and light games. But heavy gamers should look at phones with faster chips at this price.
Should You Buy the Galaxy F70 5G?
Buy it if you have a partner bank card and want the 6GB model at Rs 20,999. Also buy it if a slim 7.5mm body matters more to you than anything else.
Wait a few weeks if you can. The refresh rate and update promise should be clear by then.
Skip the 4GB model at Rs 19,999. In 2026, 4GB of RAM is tight, even for light use. If you want this hardware, the Galaxy A17 5G with 6GB is the smarter buy.
What would we do? We would buy the A17 5G today, or the F70 6GB only with the bank offer.

The Bottom Line
The Galaxy F70 5G is a decent phone at the wrong starting price. At Rs 19,999 with 4GB of RAM, it gives you less than the Galaxy A17 5G did a year ago.
The 6GB model with the bank offer is fair value. Without the offer, we would buy the A17 instead.
A few things remain unknown. Samsung has not confirmed the update promise in any report we read. The refresh rate is disputed, too. And it is not yet clear whether the charger is in the box. For the bigger picture, read why smartphone prices are rising in 2026.
