The Realme P4s Lite price in India starts at Rs 16,499 for a 4G phone with a 7,000mAh battery. Here is what you get, the catch, and who should buy.

The Realme P4s Lite price in India starts at Rs 16,499. For that, you get a huge 7,000mAh battery, a 120Hz screen, and no 5G at all.
The phone goes on sale on 8 October, the same day the festive sales open. So it will sit next to hundreds of discounted phones on Flipkart.
Below, you will find what the phone offers, where Realme cut corners, and who should actually buy it.
The Short Version
- Price: Rs 16,499 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Rs 18,499 for 4GB and 128GB.
- Available: from 8 October at 12 AM, on Flipkart and Realme’s India website.
- Best bit: a 7,000mAh battery and a 120Hz screen at this price.
- Catch: it is 4G only, with 15W charging, 4GB RAM and a 13MP camera.
- Offer: up to Rs 2,500 off with bank or UPI offers, according to reports.
- Not confirmed: the update policy, and which cards get the full discount.
Realme P4s Lite Price in India and Sale Date
Realme sells the phone in two versions. The 4GB and 64GB model costs Rs 16,499, while the 4GB and 128GB model costs Rs 18,499.
Gizmochina lists both prices, along with two colours. One is Nebula Black. However, reports name the silver shade differently, as either Moonlight Silver or Midnight Silver.
The first sale is on 8 October at 12 AM. The Tech Outlook reports that it will be sold on Flipkart and the Realme India website.
There is also a launch offer. The same report mentions an instant discount of up to Rs 2,500 through bank or UPI offers.
As a result, the base model could drop to about Rs 13,999. Still, “up to” matters here. No report says which cards qualify for the full amount.
What You Actually Get
The battery is the headline. At 7,000mAh, it is far bigger than most phones at this price.
For light users, that should mean two days between charges. However, nobody has published a battery test yet, so treat that as our estimate.
The screen is the second selling point. It is a large LCD of about 6.75 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate. Therefore, scrolling should feel smoother than on a basic 60Hz panel.
In addition, the phone is built to take some knocks. AndroidPure notes an IP64 rating and MIL-STD 810H testing.
You also get a headphone jack, a side fingerprint sensor and a microSD card slot. Those small things still matter to many budget buyers.
The Catch: Where Realme Cut Corners
First, there is no 5G. This is a 4G phone, and it has no NFC either.
Second, charging is slow. The phone supports only 15W, which is very little for a 7,000mAh battery. So expect a full charge to take hours, not minutes.
Third, the screen is only HD+. The resolution is 1570 x 720 pixels, which looks soft on a display this large.
Fourth, the chip is basic. The Unisoc T7250 is an entry-level processor, and it is paired with just 4GB of RAM.
Finally, the cameras are minimal. You get a single 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP camera on the front.
In short, Realme spent the budget on two things. AndroidPure makes the same point: the battery and the 120Hz screen got the money, and everything else got trimmed.

The software is the one unclear part. My Mobile India lists Android 16, while other reports say Realme did not specify the version.
Likewise, no source we read mentions how many Android updates the phone will get. That is a real gap at this price.
How It Compares With Its Rivals
The closest rival is another 4G phone. The Samsung Galaxy A08 launched last week at Rs 18,499 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
So the Realme is Rs 2,000 cheaper for the same memory. It also has a bigger battery, at 7,000mAh against Samsung’s 6,000mAh.
However, Samsung wins on software. The Galaxy A08 comes with six generations of Android upgrades, while Realme has promised nothing publicly yet.
Then there is 5G. When we covered the Redmi 17C 5G, its price was expected near Rs 20,999. That is a big jump from Rs 16,499.
There is also a near twin. The OnePlus N6 Lite has the same chip, a 7,000mAh battery and a 120Hz HD+ screen. It launched at Rs 16,999 for 4GB and 64GB.
So the Realme undercuts it by just Rs 500. In other words, pick between those two on bank offers and brand, not on specs.
Should You Buy It?
Buy it if battery life is your top need. For example, it suits delivery riders, travellers and parents who want a simple phone.
Buy it if you live where 5G is still patchy. In that case, you lose very little by choosing 4G.
Skip it if you plan to keep the phone for three or four years. By then, a 4G phone with 4GB RAM will feel very old.
Skip it if you care about photos. A single 13MP camera will not impress anyone.
Wait a few days if you can. The festive sales open on 8 October, and older 5G phones often drop into this price range. Our Flipkart vs Amazon sale guide can help you compare.
Also, pick the 128GB version if you do buy. With apps and photos, 64GB fills up quickly, even with a memory card.

The Bottom Line
The Realme P4s Lite price in India looks fair for the battery alone. Very few phones at Rs 16,499 give you 7,000mAh and a 120Hz screen.
However, almost everything else is basic. You give up 5G, fast charging, a sharp screen and a good camera. That is a lot to lose in 2026.
Some things are still unknown. Realme has not confirmed the update policy, and reports disagree on the Android version. We also do not know the real battery life or charging time.
So here is our verdict. Buy it only if battery life matters more than anything else. Otherwise, wait for 8 October and see what the sales bring.
