Galaxy S27 Price Leak: The Painful Truth About Every 4-Model Hike You Need to Know Now
The Galaxy S27 price leak was revised up for all four models. Here is what each rise means, and who should wait, buy or skip.

The Galaxy S27 price leak has already changed once, and it changed in the wrong direction. The tipster behind it, @phonefuturist, reportedly swapped a first list for a second one that costs more on every model.
That matters because Samsung has confirmed nothing. Still, a leak that rises on its own is a useful warning if you plan to buy a Galaxy phone this winter.
Below, you will find the old and new numbers, the percentage each model moved, and what we would do.
What the Galaxy S27 Price Leak Says
Android Authority reported the first list on 8 October 2026. It named four models, including a new “Pro” that sits between the Plus and the Ultra.
9to5Google then noted that the leaker said he had posted “old pricing” and published a corrected list. Every model on the corrected list costs more.
Digit also lists the higher international figures, which run above the US and South Korean ones. So prices will differ by region, as always.
How Much Each Model Moved
The table shows the change between the first list and the corrected one. We calculated the percentages ourselves from the two lists those outlets published.
Model | First list to corrected list |
|---|---|
Galaxy S27 | Up about 11% |
Galaxy S27+ | Up about 9% |
Galaxy S27 Pro | Up about 8% |
Galaxy S27 Ultra | Up about 7% |
The same one-step rise hit every model. As a result, the cheapest phone took the biggest percentage jump.
There is one more detail. Android Authority lists the S26 prices after Samsung’s own US hike. By our comparison, the corrected base and Plus numbers sit level with those, and only the Ultra goes beyond today’s S26 Ultra.
Why the Rise Is Believable
Memory is the reason. Android Authority notes that rising RAM costs could push these prices around.
We saw the same pressure earlier this year. Samsung already raised S26 prices, and our Galaxy S27 release date story covers how pricier memory may also be behind the launch timing.
Consequently, a cut is the unlikely outcome. A rise is the safer bet.
The Display Split Hints at the Price Gap
9to5Google reports a two-tier screen plan. The S27 and S27+ reportedly use Samsung’s M14+ OLED panel. The Pro and Ultra reportedly use the newer M16 panel.
That newer panel could allow a privacy display on the top two models. If the rumour holds, the Pro and Ultra carry a real hardware reason for costing more.
Even so, treat the panel detail as a leak. It comes from the same single source.
Who Should Wait, Buy or Skip
Here is our position, owner by owner.
Wait if you own a Galaxy S24 or older. The launch is only months away. Buying an S26 now means paying a raised price for a phone about to be replaced.
Skip if you own a Galaxy S25 or S26. The leak points to a higher price, not a bigger leap. Our Galaxy S26 Ultra vs S25 Ultra comparison shows how small yearly steps can be.
Buy now only if your phone is broken. Then pick a discounted older model rather than a full-price S26.
Consider the Pro if you want the Ultra’s screen for less. However, this model does not officially exist yet. Do not plan around it.
What would we do? We would wait for the January or February launch. After that, we would buy whichever is cheaper, the new base model or a marked-down S26. Our Galaxy S27 Ultra wait-or-buy guide covers the Ultra in more depth.
Galaxy S27 Pricing in India
This section is for Indian buyers. No credible source has an official India price yet.
Digit’s launch-timeline piece gives an estimated Ultra start of Rs 1,49,990 and does not explain how it got the figure. Smartprix also lists the same number on its S27 Ultra placeholder page marked “upcoming”.
Here is the problem. Samsung raised every S26 price in India from 23 September 2026, Digit reports. The S26 Ultra 12GB + 256GB went from Rs 1,39,999 to Rs 1,54,999.
Phone | Price |
|---|---|
Galaxy S26 Ultra before the hike | Rs 1,39,999 |
Galaxy S26 Ultra today | Rs 1,54,999 |
Estimated Galaxy S27 Ultra (Digit, unexplained) | Rs 1,49,990 |
A successor priced below today’s model, while memory costs climb, looks unlikely. Our own rough sum is a rise of about 7%, as in the corrected leak. That would put the Ultra near Rs 1,66,000. It is arithmetic, not a report, so do not treat it as a price.
We covered the hike itself in our Galaxy S26 price hike story.
Quick Answers
What is the Galaxy S27 price?
Samsung has not announced one. The leak lists four models, and every price rose in the corrected list.
When will the Galaxy S27 launch?
Digit expects around January or February 2027. Android Authority says January to March.
Is the Galaxy S27 Pro real?
It is only a rumour. Android Authority and Digit both list it, but Samsung has not confirmed it.
Should I buy the S26 Ultra now?
Not at full price. Wait for the launch, then compare it with the marked-down S26.
The Bottom Line
The Galaxy S27 price leak says one thing clearly. Whatever the final numbers, they are more likely to rise than fall.
If you own an S24 or older, wait for the launch before you spend. If you own an S25 or S26, skip this generation unless a price cut surprises everyone.
Still unknown: the real prices, the launch date, and whether the Pro exists. The leak comes from one tipster who has already corrected himself once, so check back when Samsung sends invites.
