Find X10 Ultra: Find X10 Ultra paused?

The Find X10 Ultra may be on hold. A well-known Chinese leaker says Oppo has paused development of the flagship, and several outlets are now calling it cancelled.

Oppo has not confirmed any of this. However, the story matters to Indian buyers because the Ultra was meant to be the camera king of the Find X10 family.

This post explains what the leak says, what is still unproven, and what it means if you plan to spend over Rs 1 lakh on an Oppo.

The Short Version

  • Claim: Leaker Digital Chat Station says Oppo paused the Find X10 Ultra. He posted on Weibo on 6 November.
  • Pause or cancel: The leaker said “paused”. Some outlets wrote “cancelled”. Those are not the same thing.
  • Oppo’s stance: No confirmation. Oppo had already said the Ultra was not coming in 2026.
  • India angle: The Ultra was never promised for India. The Find X10 and X10 Pro Max are on sale already.
  • Verdict: Do not wait for the Ultra. Buy only if you need a phone now.

What Does the Find X10 Ultra Leak Say?

The source is Digital Chat Station, a prominent Chinese leaker. His post says development of the Find X10 Ultra has stopped for now.

Android Authority reported the leak as a halt, not a final cancellation. Enter.co also notes that a pause can end. Development could restart.

So, the safe reading is simple. The Ultra is in doubt. It is not dead until Oppo says so.

Why Would Oppo Pause the Find X10 Ultra?

Nobody knows for sure. Android Headlines links the pause to soaring memory prices and says a planned triple 200MP camera setup was shelved. That link is unconfirmed.

The cost theory is believable, though. Memory and camera parts have got more expensive. An Ultra with top parts would cost the most to build.

The same pressure seems to be hitting rivals. Reports say Xiaomi has also shelved its 18 Ultra for similar money reasons.

Was the Find X10 Ultra Ever Coming to India?

Probably not. Earlier reports said the Ultra would stay China-only. Notebookcheck covered that leak in August, and it also named the Vivo X500 Ultra.

Oppo’s Find series chief, Zhuo Shijie, had also said the Ultra would not come in 2026. Reports put it in spring 2027 at best.

One tipster, Debayan Roy, claims the India launches of the OnePlus 16 and the Find X10 Ultra are cancelled. That is a single unverified claim. Treat it as a rumour.

What Does the Leak Not Say?

It does not give a date. It does not say Oppo has killed the whole Find X10 line. It also does not say the Ultra will never return.

That matters, because rumours often grow as they spread. One leaker wrote “paused”. By the time it reached headlines, some wrote “cancelled”. So, read the original wording first.

What Can You Buy From Oppo Right Now?

Two Find X10 phones are on sale in India. The table below shows their reported prices.

Phone
India price
Notes
Find X10
From Rs 1,39,999
Launched in India with a teleconverter kit
Find X10 Pro Max
Rs 1,99,999 (12GB/512GB)
Sales began 29 October

Prices come from Free Press Journal. We broke down both phones in our guides to the Find X10 Pro Max price and the Find X10 price in India.

Does a paused Ultra make the Pro Max better value?

In one way, yes. The Pro Max is now the top Oppo camera phone you can actually buy in India. There is no bigger sibling to wait for.

However, Rs 1,99,999 is still a huge sum. A price like that rarely holds for long, so offers may follow.

Should You Wait for the Find X10 Ultra?

No. Here is the plain advice by buyer type.

  • Camera obsessives: Skip waiting. The Ultra is paused, may be China-only and would cost even more than the Pro Max.
  • Upgraders with a 2025 flagship: Wait. Nothing here forces a purchase this year.
  • Buyers who need a phone now: Compare the Find X10 Pro Max with the vivo X500 series, which Vivo has teased for India.
  • Samsung fans: Keep an eye on the Galaxy S27 Ultra. PhoneArena notes that a paused Find X10 Ultra gives it more room to breathe.

How to Decide in Four Steps

If you are weighing a Rs 1 lakh-plus phone, use this checklist.

  1. Set a budget. Decide your ceiling before you look at any phone. The Find X10 starts at Rs 1,39,999, so that sets the floor for Oppo.
  2. Name your need. If it is the camera, the Pro Max is the one. If it is general use, a cheaper flagship will do.
  3. Wait two weeks for offers. Launch prices at this level often come with bank or exchange deals. Check Flipkart and the Oppo store before you pay.
  4. Ignore the Ultra for now. Until Oppo speaks, a paused phone is not a plan.

What to Watch Next

First, watch for any word from Oppo or its Find series chief. A confirmation would settle the pause-versus-cancel question.

Second, watch the memory price trend. If costs ease, a paused flagship could return. If they rise, expect more Ultra models to slip.

We will update this post if Oppo says anything official.

Conclusion

The Find X10 Ultra is paused, not proven cancelled. Do not plan a purchase around it.
