All 9 RTX Spark Laptops Ranked: Best and Worst Value
We ranked all 9 RTX Spark laptops on price, battery and game support. Buy the ASUS ProArt, skip the Dell XPS 16, and gamers should wait.

The first RTX Spark laptops went on sale on 16 October. So, nine machines from six brands now share one Nvidia chip, and the prices run from about Rs 2.46 lakh to Rs 3.60 lakh.
However, the chip is the same story in every one of them. What changes is the price, the screen and the battery. That makes picking one simpler than it looks, and it also makes a couple of them hard to justify.
The Short Version
- Best overall: ASUS ProArt P16. In Digit’s test it lasted 13.4 hours on battery, and it costs only about Rs 19,000 more than the cheapest model.
- Best value: ASUS ProArt P14 or Surface Laptop Ultra, both from about Rs 2.46 lakh.
- Worst value: Dell XPS 16, from about Rs 3.60 lakh, which is Rs 1.14 lakh more for the same platform.
- Gamers should wait. Some anti-cheat systems, including Riot’s Vanguard and Activision’s Ricochet, are not supported yet.
- Indian buyers should wait too. No brand has announced an India price or date.
What RTX Spark Laptops Actually Are
RTX Spark is Nvidia’s first laptop processor. It puts an Arm-based Nvidia Grace CPU and a Blackwell RTX GPU on one chip, and Nvidia says it supports up to 128GB of shared memory. As a result, the graphics chip can use far more memory than a normal laptop GPU.
That is the real selling point. For example, Nvidia claims these machines can render 3D scenes up to 90GB and edit 8K video, even on battery.
We first wrote about this chip when Nvidia-powered Windows PCs were still a rumour. Back then, the question was whether it would ship. Now the question is whether it is worth the money.
All 9 RTX Spark Laptops, Ranked
Here is every launch model Nvidia listed, with the US starting prices Windows Central collected. Each figure is a straight conversion, not a local price.
Prices checked on 20 October 2026. US launch prices are converted at Rs 94.81 to the dollar, before any Indian tax.
# | Laptop | US price in Rs | Ships |
|---|---|---|---|
1 | ASUS ProArt P16 | Rs 2.65 lakh | 16 Oct |
2 | ASUS ProArt P14 | Rs 2.46 lakh | 16 Oct |
3 | Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra | Rs 2.46 lakh | 16 Oct |
4 | HP OmniBook X 14 | Rs 2.84 lakh | 4 Nov |
5 | Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n | Rs 2.94 lakh | 16 Oct |
6 | HP OmniBook Ultra 16 | Rs 3.03 lakh | 4 Nov |
7 | MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ | Rs 3.13 lakh | TBC |
8 | MSI Prestige N16 | not out | TBC |
9 | Dell XPS 16 | Rs 3.60 lakh | 16 Oct |
The ranking is about value. Because the chip is shared, a higher price has to buy you a better screen, a bigger battery or more memory. Most of the expensive models do not clearly do that at their starting price.
Why the ASUS ProArt P16 Is the One to Buy
First, it has the strongest independent test result so far. Digit tested the ProArt P16 and got 13.4 hours of real video playback from it.
Second, it has a 16-inch 120Hz OLED screen. That matters, because the people this chip suits are mostly video editors and 3D artists.
Third, it costs only about Rs 19,000 more than the cheapest model. That is a small gap for a larger OLED panel.
Note that Digit’s unit had 64GB of memory. So, the base model will have less, and you should check the memory before you pay.
The Cheaper Picks: ProArt P14 and Surface Laptop Ultra
Both start at about Rs 2.46 lakh. If you want the same chip for the least money, start here.
The ProArt P14 is the lightest ProArt laptop ASUS has made. Meanwhile, the Surface Laptop Ultra has a mini-LED screen and more ports, according to Windows Central.
In short, pick the P14 if you carry your laptop every day. Pick the Surface if the mini-LED screen and extra ports matter more to you.
The Ones to Skip
The Dell XPS 16 is the clearest skip. It starts at about Rs 3.60 lakh, which is Rs 1.14 lakh more than the cheapest RTX Spark laptop.
Yes, it has a 3.2K OLED screen. But the ProArt P16 also has an OLED screen, and it costs about Rs 95,000 less.
Similarly, both HP models are hard to recommend right now. They cost more than the ASUS pair, and they do not ship until 4 November. So, there is no reason to pre-order one before the first reviews arrive.
The Catch: Games and Older Apps
This is an Arm chip, so it does not run every Windows program the way an Intel or AMD laptop does. Instead, many apps run through a translation layer, and some run slower as a result.
Gaming is the bigger worry. According to Digit, Easy Anti-Cheat, BattlEye and Valve’s anti-cheat are supported. However, Ricochet and Vanguard are only on the list for later support.
That matters, because Ricochet protects Call of Duty and Vanguard protects Valorant. If either game is the one you play, an RTX Spark laptop will not run it today.
Also, Digit found the graphics land in the RTX 5060 to RTX 5070 laptop range. That is good, but a regular gaming laptop with that GPU class runs every game, anti-cheat included.
The India Price and When to Expect It
No brand has announced an India price or launch date yet. Nvidia only says that prices vary by region.
Listing sites are already showing numbers, though. On 20 October, Smartprix listed RTX Spark laptops from Rs 1,99,999 to Rs 2,59,999, with most marked upcoming or rumoured. Digit also estimates Rs 1,99,999 for the ProArt P16.
Treat those as placeholders, not prices. For example, the ProArt P16’s US price converts to about Rs 2.65 lakh before 18% GST. So, an India price near Rs 2 lakh would be a surprise.
Our advice is to wait for the official India price from ASUS or Microsoft. Also, if a MacBook Pro is your other option, Apple’s 28 October event may change that comparison first.
Quick Answers
Are RTX Spark laptops good for gaming?
Partly. Many games run well, but some anti-cheat systems are not supported yet, so check your games first.
Which RTX Spark laptop is the cheapest?
The ASUS ProArt P14 and Surface Laptop Ultra, both from about Rs 2.46 lakh at a straight conversion.
How long does the battery last?
Digit measured 13.4 hours of video playback on the ProArt P16. Heavy GPU work will drain it much faster.
Are RTX Spark laptops available in India?
Not yet. No brand has confirmed an India price or date as of 20 October 2026.
The Bottom Line
Buy the ASUS ProArt P16 if you edit video, render 3D or run AI models locally, and your apps support Arm. Otherwise, the ProArt P14 or Surface Laptop Ultra gets you the same chip for less.
Skip the Dell XPS 16 at its current price. And if you play Call of Duty or Valorant, wait, or buy a regular gaming laptop instead.
Still unknown: the India prices, the India dates, and how much memory each base model ships with. Also, only one of these nine has an independent battery test so far. If you want something far cheaper for college or office work, see our best laptops under Rs 40,000 instead.
