What OPPO Has Confirmed

The phone launches in India on 29 September at 12 pm, according to FoneArena. It will be sold on Flipkart, and FoneArena says it will arrive in time for the Big Billion Days sale.

The screen is a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness. Reports put its size at about 6.8 inches.

Inside, you get MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 Max chip. OPPO claims the phone scores over one million points on AnTuTu, a popular speed test.

For cooling, OPPO is using a large 5,000 sq mm vapour chamber. That should help during long gaming sessions, although we will only know once people test it.

The Battery and the Catch

The headline feature is the 8,000mAh battery. On paper, that should comfortably last a full day of heavy use, and likely more.

However, Digit reports that charging tops out at 45W. That is fine for a normal phone. For a battery this big, it means a full charge will take noticeably longer than on faster-charging rivals.

In practice, this is a phone you charge overnight, not in a 20-minute rush. If you are a heavy user who forgets to charge, that trade is probably worth it.

Cameras, Build and Software

On the back, Digit lists a 50MP main camera with OIS, alongside a 2MP depth sensor. In other words, there is no ultrawide camera, which is a real miss at this price.

The front camera is 16MP. FoneArena also says the main camera can record 4K video.

Durability looks strong. The phone carries an IP69K rating, so it should survive dust, water and high-pressure jets. Gizbot adds that it also has IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings.

It runs ColorOS 16, and Gizbot says that is based on Android 16. That is a small letdown, because Android 17 is already out on Pixel phones.

The Big Price Question

This is where things get murky. Flipkart’s microsite says the price will be under Rs 45,000, according to Gizbot. That covers almost the entire mid-range.

Meanwhile, Digit estimates Rs 28,999 to Rs 30,000 for the base model. Digit clearly labels this as an estimate, so treat it as a guess until OPPO confirms.

For context, the regular OPPO K14 5G starts at Rs 25,999, as Gizbot notes. So a price near Rs 30,000 would fit neatly above it.
