Infinix GT 50 Pro Sale Price Is Rs 69,999: A Painful Money Warning for Gamers

The Infinix GT 50 Pro sale price is Rs 69,999. The first sale opens on 30 October at 12 PM on Flipkart and the Infinix India store. That is about double what reports expected before launch.

Before the launch, reports put the phone at Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000. We repeated that range in our pre-launch look at the GT 50 Pro. Instead, Infinix asked for twice as much, and it sells only one version.

So here is what Rs 69,999 buys, what the offers cut it to, and what we would do.

The Short Version

• Price: Rs 69,999 for the only model, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
• First sale: 30 October, 12 PM, on Flipkart and the Infinix India store.
• Bank offer: Rs 5,000 off on SBI, ICICI, HDFC, Yes Bank and Axis Bank credit cards, so Rs 64,999.
• In the box at launch: a controller, a TV dock, a cooling fan and a magnetic case, which Infinix values at Rs 24,999.
• The catch: there is no phone-only version, so you pay for the accessories whether you want them or not.
• Our view: skip it if you only want a fast phone. Buy it only if you will use the dock and controller every week.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Sale Price and Offers

The price is the same everywhere. Business Today and Beebom both list Rs 69,999 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The colours are Black Abyss and Red Blaze.

In addition, the bank offer cuts Rs 5,000 on credit cards from five banks. Flickonclick puts the effective price at Rs 64,999 after it.

Infinix also adds 6,999 reward points for its own store. However, those points only help if you buy more Infinix products later.

Why It Costs Nearly Three Times the GT 30 Pro

The last model was far cheaper. The GT 30 Pro launched in June 2025 at Rs 24,999, according to GSMArena and Digit.

Infinix has not explained the jump. Digit suggests the global memory chip shortage may be part of it. That is a guess, though, not a statement from Infinix.

The bigger reason is the bundle. Last year, Infinix sold a cooler kit separately for Rs 1,199. This year, the controller, dock, fan and case come with every phone, and you cannot opt out.

What the Phone Itself Gets Right

First, the screen is strong. It is a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel at up to 144Hz, with Gorilla Glass 7i, Beebom reports.

Second, the battery grows to 6,500mAh. It still charges at 45W by cable and 30W wirelessly, and it can charge other devices too.

Third, the cooling is new. A large vapour chamber works with a small pump that moves liquid through visible pipes. Infinix calls it HydroFlow. No one has tested it properly yet, so treat the claims as claims.

Finally, the software promise is decent. The phone runs XOS 16 on Android 16, Beebom says. It gets three years of Android updates and five years of security patches.

Where Rs 69,999 Falls Short

The chip is the problem. The Dimensity 8400 Ultimate is a fast upper mid-range chip. Still, it is only a small step up from the 8350 in the GT 30 Pro.

Meanwhile, flagship-chip phones sit close by. The iQOO 15 launched in India at Rs 72,999 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Business Today reported. Its price has since climbed, as our iQOO 16 report shows.

Similarly, the cameras are basic for the price. You get a 50MP main camera with stabilisation, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 13MP selfie camera. There is no telephoto lens.

Also, the USB-C port is the older USB 2.0 type, so moving large files to a computer will be slow.

Who Should Buy, Wait or Skip

Buy it if you game every day and own a TV for the dock. It also suits you if you would have bought a controller and cooler anyway. With a bank card, Rs 64,999 for all of it is fair.

Wait if you like the phone but not the price. First, the bundle is a launch offer, and the terms may change. Second, the first proper tests of the liquid cooling are not out yet. Give it two or three weeks.

Skip it if you just want the fastest phone for your money. At this price, a flagship chip and a better camera beat a controller you may never use.

Our own call: we would skip it. The phone is good, but you are paying flagship money for a mid-range chip plus accessories. For most gamers, a flagship phone and a Rs 2,000 cooler is the smarter buy.

The Bottom Line

The Infinix GT 50 Pro sale price of Rs 69,999 buys a good phone and a real gaming kit. Even so, most people want a fast phone, not a dock, and they cannot get one without the other here.

Several things are still unknown. First, no one knows how well the liquid cooling holds up in long games. Next, a phone-only version may or may not follow. Also, Infinix has not said how long the bundle offer lasts.

Until then, our advice is simple: buy it only if you will use every piece in the box. Otherwise, keep your Rs 69,999 for a flagship.
