The Galaxy S26 Big Billion Days price is out, and it is lower than we expected. Flipkart has teased the phone at Rs 74,999 for the sale that opens on 9 October.

That matters because Samsung raised the same phone to Rs 1,02,999 only last week. So the sale price sits about Rs 28,000 below Samsung’s own rate.

Below, you will find what the deal includes, where the catch is, and how the other Samsung phones are priced. We also say who should buy and who should wait.

Last updated 3 October 2026. We update this page as prices are confirmed.

The Short Version

  • Sale price: Rs 74,999 for the Galaxy S26 on Flipkart, with conditions that are not spelled out yet.
  • Samsung’s own price: Rs 1,02,999 on the Samsung India website, according to Digit.
  • Sale dates: early access on 8 October, and the main sale from 9 October.
  • Extra bank offer: up to Rs 4,000 off on Flipkart SBI and Axis Bank cards, but the terms are pending.
  • Catch: the price carries an asterisk, and reports do not name the storage variant.
  • Our take: at this price, the S26 finally makes sense. However, the Galaxy S25 is still the better value.

Galaxy S26 Big Billion Days Price: What Flipkart Has Shown

Beebom reported the full Samsung list on 2 October. According to that report, the Galaxy S26 gets a Rs 13,000 cut and starts at Rs 74,999.

Digit gives the same figure. It says the Galaxy S26 series will start at Rs 74,999 during the sale.

We also checked Flipkart’s own Galaxy S26 listing on 3 October. It showed the 256GB model at Rs 74,999, struck down from Rs 87,999.

So three places agree on the number. Still, one caution applies. Cashify describes the list as leaked and says Flipkart will confirm final prices later.

Why the Real Saving Is Bigger Than Rs 13,000

Flipkart measures its discount against Rs 87,999. That was the Galaxy S26 price before Samsung’s hike on 23 September.

However, the phone no longer costs that at Samsung. Digit notes that the current price on the Samsung India website is Rs 1,02,999. We covered the full list in our report on the Galaxy S26 price hike in India.

As a result, the honest comparison is Rs 74,999 against Rs 1,02,999. That is a gap of Rs 28,000, or roughly 27%.

In other words, Flipkart’s banner undersells its own deal. That almost never happens in a festive sale.

The Catch: An Asterisk and a Missing Variant

Now for the fine print. Beebom points out that the Rs 74,999 price carries an asterisk on Flipkart’s page. That usually means conditions apply, such as a bank offer.

Flipkart has not explained those conditions yet. So we do not know if Rs 74,999 is the plain price or the price after a card discount.

There is a second gap as well. Neither Beebom nor Digit names the storage variant. Flipkart’s listing suggests it is the 256GB model, but that could change before the sale.

Meanwhile, the 512GB model looked far less tempting. Flipkart’s listing showed it at Rs 1,07,999 when we checked. Therefore, the deal seems limited to the base model for now.

Bank Offers and How Low It Could Go

Flipkart is promising an extra Rs 4,000 off on Flipkart SBI and Axis Bank cards, Beebom reports. That offer also has an asterisk, so the eligible phones are not confirmed.

Digit, on the other hand, lists Axis Bank, ICICI Bank and SBI as partners, with up to 10% off. The two reports do not fully match. Because of that, check the offer on the product page before you pay.

If the Rs 4,000 offer does apply to the S26, the price would fall to Rs 70,999. However, that is our own maths, not a confirmed figure.

Other Samsung Phones in the Sale

The Galaxy S26 is not the only Samsung deal. Here is the list Beebom published, with the regular price Flipkart shows next to each.

| Phone | Regular price | Sale price |

|—|—|—|

| Galaxy F70e | Rs 19,999 | Rs 16,999* |

| Galaxy A36 | Rs 35,999 | Rs 25,999* |

| Galaxy F70 Pro | Rs 35,999 | Rs 25,999* |

| Galaxy S25 FE | Rs 54,999 | Rs 46,999 |

| Galaxy S25 | Rs 69,999 | Rs 57,999 |

| Galaxy S26 | Rs 87,999 | Rs 74,999* |

| Galaxy Z Flip 8 | Rs 1,24,999 | Rs 1,05,999 |

An asterisk means conditions apply.

The Galaxy S25 looks strongest here. With the Rs 4,000 bank offer, it drops to Rs 53,999, according to Digit. In addition, a Galaxy S25 Exclusive Pass takes off Rs 2,000 more, which brings it to Rs 52,999.

That pass costs Rs 1,000 if you buy it by 4 October. So you have very little time to decide.

One detail is unclear, though. Beebom names the Rs 1,05,999 foldable as the Galaxy Z Flip 8. Digit and Cashify, however, attach that price to the Z Fold 8 series. Until Flipkart clears it up, treat that deal with care.

Flipkart’s listing also showed the Galaxy S26+ at Rs 94,999 and the S26 Ultra from Rs 1,23,999. We could not match those two prices with a second source, so they may change.

Should You Buy the Galaxy S26 at This Price?

Buy the Galaxy S26 if you want Samsung’s newest compact flagship with 256GB. At Rs 74,999, it is far easier to recommend than at Rs 1,02,999.

Buy the Galaxy S25 instead if value matters most. It costs about Rs 17,000 less in this sale. Besides, it has the same camera hardware and the same 25W charging, as our Galaxy S25 vs S26 comparison shows.

Wait until 8 October if you are unsure about the conditions. Early access opens that day, and the real terms will be visible then.

Skip it if you want fast charging. The S26 still charges at 25W, which is slow at any of these prices.

Also, keep the Galaxy S26 FE at Rs 79,999 in mind. If this deal holds, the regular S26 will cost less than the FE’s launch price. That makes the FE hard to justify unless it gets a cut of its own.

Quick Answers

What is the Galaxy S26 price in Big Billion Days 2026?

Flipkart has teased it at Rs 74,999. The price carries an asterisk, so conditions such as a bank offer may apply.

When does the Galaxy S26 deal start?

The main sale starts on 9 October 2026. Early access opens on 8 October for eligible users.

Is the Galaxy S26 deal on Amazon too?

Not so far. Amazon’s sale begins on 8 October, but Digit’s list of teased Amazon phones does not include the Galaxy S26.

Is Rs 74,999 the lowest Galaxy S26 price yet?

We cannot confirm that. It is Rs 13,000 below the launch price, and Rs 28,000 below Samsung’s current price.

The Bottom Line

The Galaxy S26 Big Billion Days price changes our advice. Last week, we told most buyers to skip the S26. At Rs 74,999, it is a fair deal for a current Samsung flagship.

Even so, the Galaxy S25 remains the smarter buy for most people. It costs much less, and the cameras are the same on paper.

Several things are still unknown. Flipkart has not explained the asterisk, and the storage variant is not officially named. Nor is it clear which bank cards apply to the S26. The sale’s end date is also uncertain, because reports mention both 13 and 18 October. We will update this post once the sale goes live.
