vivo S2 FE Price in India: The Huge Battery Leak You Need to Know Now

The vivo S2 FE price in India has leaked two days before launch. A retail box reportedly shows Rs 39,999, and the phone arrives on 6 October at 12 noon, according to Gizbot.

The bigger story is the battery. Leaks point to a 10,000mAh cell, which would be huge for a phone at this price.

Below, you will find what vivo has confirmed, what is only a leak, and what price would make sense. We also say who should wait for it.

Last updated 4 October 2026. We update this page as prices are confirmed.

The Short Version

  • Launch: 6 October 2026 at 12 noon, alongside the vivo V80.
  • Where to buy: Flipkart, which already has a teaser page live.
  • Leaked box price: Rs 39,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
  • Likely selling price: lower than the box, but vivo has not confirmed it.
  • Best bit: a tipped 10,000mAh battery, which vivo calls its largest.
  • Catch: a weaker chip than the vivo S2, and only 44W charging.

What vivo Has Confirmed

The confirmed list is short. vivo has announced the launch date, and the phone will sell through Flipkart.

In addition, vivo has shown the design. The phone has a flat back, a square camera module with two lenses, and a green colour option.

vivo has also teased the battery. The Mobile Indian quotes the company as promising “vivo’s largest battery” in this phone.

However, vivo has not shared a number yet. So everything below this point comes from leaks.

vivo S2 FE Price in India: What the Leak Says

The leaked price is a box price, not a selling price. Gizbot reports an MRP of Rs 39,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version.

That matters because box prices in India usually sit above what you pay. Therefore, the real price should be lower.

The Mobile Indian expects it to sell between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000. Still, that range is an estimate, and no source has confirmed it.

Digit also mentions versions with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. However, there is no price leak for those yet.

The 10,000mAh Battery, If It Is Real

This is the headline feature. Digit, Gizbot and The Mobile Indian all report a tipped 10,000mAh battery.

For comparison, the regular vivo S2 has a 7,050mAh battery. That figure comes from vivo’s own launch announcement in August.

So the cheaper FE model may carry a much bigger battery than the main phone. That is unusual, and it is the main reason to watch this launch.

Meanwhile, one report puts the weight at 225 grams and the thickness at 8.75mm. Those numbers are not confirmed, but expect a heavy phone.

The Leaked Specs

Here is the full leaked sheet. None of it is official until vivo says so on 6 October.

  • Display: 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED, with a 120Hz refresh rate
  • Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7300e
  • Memory: 6GB or 8GB RAM, with 128GB or 256GB storage
  • Rear cameras: 50MP main and a 2MP second lens
  • Front camera: 32MP
  • Battery: 10,000mAh with 44W charging
  • Durability: IP68 and IP69 ratings
  • Updates: three Android upgrades and five years of security patches, reportedly

The screen size and the cameras match the regular vivo S2. So the FE looks like the same body with a bigger battery and a cheaper chip.

The Catch: Slow Charging and a Weaker Chip

Two things worry us. First, 44W charging is slow for a 10,000mAh battery.

For example, the vivo V80 fills a 7,200mAh battery at 90W. In contrast, the S2 FE would push a much bigger cell at half that speed.

As a result, a full charge could take a long time. No source gives a charging time yet, so treat this as our concern, not a fact.

Second, the chip is a step down. The vivo S2 uses the Dimensity 7360-Turbo, while the FE is tipped to use the Dimensity 7300e.

Also, the base version reportedly has only 6GB RAM. That is fine for daily use, but it is thin for heavy gaming.

How It Compares With the vivo S2 and V80

The vivo S2 launched in August at Rs 39,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Since then, it has become costlier, and Gizbot says it now starts from Rs 42,999.

So the FE’s box price matches the S2’s launch price. Therefore, a selling price near Rs 39,999 would make little sense.

The vivo V80 launches on the same day, but it plays in a higher league. We covered it in our vivo V80 launch date and price guide.

Rising costs explain part of this. Our guide on why smartphone prices are rising in 2026 has the full story.

Should You Wait for It?

Wait for it if battery life matters more than speed. The launch is two days away, so there is no reason to rush.

Skip it if you play heavy games or want fast charging. In that case, the regular vivo S2 or a rival will suit you better.

Our price test: at Rs 32,999 or less, this phone is easy to recommend. Above Rs 36,000, the vivo S2 looks like the smarter buy.
